To protect our forms (e.g. contact form, customer account registration, password reset) against spam and automated access (bots), we use Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

When you open a protected form, Turnstile checks whether it is being used by a human or an automated program. For this purpose, Cloudflare processes technical characteristics of your connection and browser, in particular your IP address, your browser and operating system identifier (user agent), a technical fingerprint of the encrypted connection (TLS) and the website visited. Turnstile does not set cookies for advertising or tracking purposes, and the data is not used to create user profiles.

Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf. In addition, Cloudflare uses the data as an independent controller to improve Turnstile's bot detection.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to protect our website and forms against abuse, spam and automated attacks. Access to information on your device is permitted under Section 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG, as it is strictly necessary for this protection.

Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and has additionally concluded the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
